VIENNA (October 14, 2024) – Leading talent advisory firm DHR Global is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Gerlinde Berger to European Industrial Managing Partner. Berger will take over the leadership role from Frank Smeekes, who has held the position for 15 years and will remain Managing Partner, Europe, and Board member of DHR.
Berger brings more than 20 years of executive search and consulting experience to the role, with a strong background in the manufacturing industry. Her expertise in leadership placements, particularly in the automotive, machinery, and packaging sectors, has made her a trusted advisor for multinational companies.

Berger has a doctorate in economic and social sciences from Johannes Kepler University in Austria and a master’s degree in international business administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
