Combining his legal background and expertise in talent acquisition and organizational advisory, John helps clients across industries achieve their strategic goals and objectives.

In more than 24 years of executive search experience across industries, he’s developed a reputation for delivering high-quality client service for the C-suite and beyond. His work for colleges and universities includes searches for Chancellor, President, Provost, and Dean, and leadership roles, such as Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and General Counsel.
John also has extensive experience in the sports industry, having worked with renowned organizations, such as the LA Dodgers, Las Vegas Raiders, Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks, and Legends Hospitality. His expertise in this sector includes advising professional sports teams and organizations on executive leadership searches and strategic planning.
John’s legal and professional affiliations further enhance his industry expertise. He’s an active member of the Sports Lawyers Association. Previously, he was the Chair of the Advisory Board of the Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel and Articles Editor for the Loyola Entertainment Law Journal.
Before joining DHR, John was a Senior Client Partner for a global organizational consulting firm, where he served a wide range of global Fortune 500 corporations, colleges, universities, nonprofits, and other major public and private organizations.
John earned a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
