Geoff Hoffmann embarked on his journey with DHR in 1999. Over the years, he has served in several pivotal roles within the organization, culminating in his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in 2012. In this capacity, he is responsible for directing all functions and operations of the business.
Before assuming the CEO role, Geoff served as the Chief Operating Officer, where he oversaw corporate marketing & public relations, internal recruiting, research and strategic planning on a global scale. His leadership was instrumental in shaping the firm’s trajectory and continued success. Prior to his appointment as COO, Geoff served as Executive Vice President of Strategy, spearheading the establishment of DHR’s global offices, fostering growth and development across new locations. Under his guidance the firm expanded its footprint by establishing offices in 13 new countries while paving the way for further growth.
Prior to this, Geoff was an integral part of the growth and operating processes of DHR and assisted in the development of extensive global recruiting and operating procedures. Additionally, he led the firm’s new marketing and branding strategy to reflect the firm’s global presence. Geoff’s journey began as an Associate in the research department, where he conducted senior-level searches across diverse industries, including professional services, life sciences, and financial services.
Geoff serves on the boards of a variety of businesses including DHR Global, as well as the boards of JDRF Illinois and YPO Chicago Chapter. In 2022, Geoff and his wife Megan founded Type 1 Timer Hockey, the only nonprofit hockey camp of its type in North America, which brings together and supports type 1 diabetic hockey players from around the world. Geoff’s insights and expertise are sought after and he has been featured and quoted in numerous prominent business publications including WSJ Live, Reuters, CBS Market Watch, Bloomberg, CNBC, and Fox Business News.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Miami University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. Geoff, his wife Megan, and their four active boys reside in the Chicago suburbs.
